Camp Goretti

Chesterton Academy's Camp Goretti is named for St. Maria Goretti, patron saint of young girls.
Camp Goretti is a Catholic girls’ summer camp full of fun, friends, and faith. During the week-long camp, girls enjoy daily virtue talks, crafts, and drama.
The camp was founded and is run by Chesterton Academy students. Camps are offered for students in grades 2-7. Future programs include boys’ camps and day camps during the school year. Stay tuned for a schedule of upcoming events.
Parent Testimony
I had a daughter in each session of Camp Goretti this year. Both of my daughters LOVED it!
The camp gives my girls a chance to spend time with friends as well as make new friends. They learn about virtues and how to live them out, through stories and the play they put together. The counselors really care about the girls, and are great role models for them. They do a different craft each day. The crafts are all things they can use at home (picture frames, T-shirts) or give as gifts. As a mom of more than one girl, it’s nice to see them come home with something they’ll use, rather than something that will simply take up space.
I’m sure by next spring, my girls will be asking if it’s time to sign up for Camp Goretti yet.
