The Minnesota High School Mock Trial Program is an exciting law-related education program that introduces students to the American legal system and provides a challenging opportunity for personal growth and achievement. As part of the mock trial program, students exercise many of the skills and virtues they learn as part of their classical education.
Our Mock Trial Team is fortunate to have the excellent leadership of Chesterton Academy Headmaster, Mr. John Niemann, whose skills as an attorney are a wonderful asset to the program. Thank you Mr. Niemann!
This year’s case was the famous Glensheen Mansion Murder. The team was split between prosecution and defense sides of the case and then competed against other teams in regionals. Chesterton Academy won one of its three cases in one of the most difficult regions in the state.
